YOUR NEW ROLE

As the new Service Manager, you will be considered the Person In
Charge (PIC) and will ensure full compliance with any relevant
regulatory frameworks, legislation, policies and procedures, including
HIQA. You will work with the clinical governance sub-committee on
matters of clinical governance and Line manage the operational aspect
of the clinical governance structure. In your new role you will be
responsible for the development and management of the service,
including the management of finances and the overall operational
activities such as building maintenance and general administration
activities. This is a pivotal role within the organisation and is a
full-time, permanent position.?You must demonstrate the capacity to
lead and develop services, underpinned by the principles of person
centeredness and quality to ensure each person you support achieves
their optimum potential. Your new role will require management and
duty of the rota and on-call as an when necessary. As PIC you will
develop and maintain relevant working relationships with external
agencies. You will be responsible for the implementation of Your New
Company?s Mission Statement, including spiritual guidance with the
support of your team.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

In order to succeed in your new role, you will have recent and
relevant management experience, creating rosters and managing staff. A
level 7 or equivalent degree in a related field.

* Demonstrable previous experience of successfully managing and
delivering a similar support service to clients
* Strong knowledge of issues relating to homelessness including
current legislation, government policy, the state benefits framework,
and any relevant client support pathways
* Higher Advanced Certificate, Bachelor?s Degree, Diploma or
equivalent professional qualification in a related field
* Proven previous experience of successfully developing business
plans, budget management, and the continuous development of
operational procedures and processes
* Previous experience of successfully leading and managing a team to
deliver objectives
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the
ability to develop strong, successful, and collaborative working
relationships with clients, colleagues and external partners
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, effective
time management and the ability to prioritise work, and be able to
respond to tight deadlines
* Strong IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office and the
ability to interrogate data from spreadsheets and data bases
* The ability to work unsociable hours including weekend work, and
on call duty when required
* The ability to work within the company?s ethos and key values
